Our take on the Caprese Salad to elevate your Mediterranean San Valentino Feast.
The perfect summer appetizer. It is simple, refreshing & ohhhh so cute. The classic combination of fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes & fragrant basil makes for a delicious and satisfying dish.
What you need
A firm tomato (we used vine)
Buffalo mozzarella (available in store)
Fresh basil
Olive Oil (a good quality oil)
Cracked pepper.
Heart shape cookie cutter
Method
Slice tomatoes thinly and arrange on plate.
Add a fresh basil leaf on top of each tomato.
Slice you buffalo mozzarella.
Cut a heart shape from each piece and place on top of your basil & tomato.
drizzle with your oil.
top with cracked pepper.
